黃詠琴畢業於台灣中國文化大學戲劇系，是一位職業木偶師及木偶工作坊導師，成人偶戲、面具劇團「木坊藝客」的負責人。2001年跟隨HK Teddy Bear Association會長陳清儀女士學習Teddy Bear 創作，亦曾參加荷蘭 Teddy Bear 藝術家 Ms. Ellen Van Bakel 在香港舉辦的工作坊。

學習製作熊仔的過程中，她發現其製作技巧及獨特的造型，很適合和「偶」結合，於是便把所有熊仔加上表演偶的機關，成為既可觀賞又可演出的「Teddy Bear 偶」，其實以熊仔人見人愛的外表站出來說話，不只小孩，甚至成年人也被深深吸引，就算是嚴肅的題材「Teddy Bear偶」也可表演得頭頭是道。所以熊仔穌了會在商店、博物館出現之外，也會在舞台上為大家演出一幕幕扣人心弦的故事。

Graduated from Taiwan Chinese Cultural University Department of Drama, Wong Wing Kam is a free-lance puppeteer and puppet workshop tutor. She also founded in "Mask Puppet Performing Troupe" mask and puppet theatre for adults. In 2001 she learnt making Teddy Bear from Ms. Gloria Chan, the chairlady of HK Teddy Bear Association and Ms. Ellen Van Bakel Dutch Teddy Bear artist.

Kam discovered that Teddy Bear having lovely appearance could be an appropriate puppet attracting the audience of all ages, even in those serious subjects. Teddy Bear will no longer limit himself in the shops or museums, he will appear in the theatres to give us fabulous shows.
