HK Teddy Bear Association

Teddy bear fairs are held throughout the world each year where artists, bear lovers and traders come together. At the fairs,
competitions are held for artists as well as for amateurs where ideas and skills are exchanged. There are also stalls selling
bears and all kinds of books, materials and accessories for bear-making. There, people are always smiling and greet each
other warmly. It is like a carnival. How wonderful it would be if there is such a fair in Hong Kong for local artists and people who love teddy bears! The setting up of a Hong Kong Teddy Bear Association would be a dream come true for local teddy bear lovers. Mr and Mrs Schepp, Directors of "Bear by Bear" in Germany (one of biggest teddy bear fair organizers in Europe) and Mr Kazundo Onozuka, Chairperson of the Japan Teddy Bear Association have been consulted and they have agreed to give support when the association is set up. The Association will be a place for exchange of ideas, information and techniques and everybody who love teddy bears are welcome.
